Paul’s School Visit

Paul had the fun opportunity to visit a grade 4/5 class in the Richmond School District! He gave students some information on how he started playing music and demonstrated some of his gear for them. Then everyone participated in some fun sing-a-longs of the students’ favourite songs! Rock on!

Blue Guitar Studio Winter Recital featuring Chloe on the drums! Chloe has made great progress in her drum lessons and her hard work has paid off! Amazing performance, Chloe!

Blue Guitar Studio had a winter recital at the end of 2023 and Chloe was absolutely ROCKING on the drums! Fantastic performance, Chloe!

Chloe has been taking drum lessons with Adrian. If you’ve been thinking about playing the drums, there’s no time like the present! We have an excellent Roland electronic drum kit in the studio and we LOVE to get people jamming on the drums.

At our Vancouver studio location we teach people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’ve never touched a drum set before or you're an experienced musician, we’re excited to get to work with you and help you to get to the next level. Lessons are song-based so that you can start playing your favourite tunes right away and we provide you with the tools and strategies to help you to be successful on your music journey.

No drum kit at home? No problem! We’re happy to book you in for some practice time at the studio. If you’re interested in renting or purchasing your own drum kit, our instructors can provide you with instrument information so that you can be successful in playing the music you’re into.

Here is another great example of hard work paying off! Maya played keys, synth bass, sang lead vocals and did her own harmonies on this awesome cover of "Drunk Text Me" by Lexi Jayde. Nice work Maya!

"Fragile" with Tom

Lenny's student Tom has taken on the steel string acoustic and has been working hard to add contemporary pop songs to his classical repertoire. He is sounding amazing in this clip!

"Somebody To Love" with Alex

Here is my student Alex absolutely rocking the solo from Jefferson Airplane "Somebody To Love". He nailed the feel and tone and on top of being an awesome student he is also a great guy! Very proud of this video!

I'm very proud of my student Cat for working so hard on her audition for a post secondary jazz music program. She's absolutely killing it on this version of "Sonnymoon For Two"!

Introducing our wonderful bass student Mia. She has been taking lessons from Lenny for less than a year and is already grooving like a master!!! This is her cover of "Edge of Great" by Julie and the Phantoms. Congrats Mia, the hard work is paying off!
